Ideología y medio ambiente. en el foro de Filosofía:

Digo yo. Foucault hubiera escrito lo que escribió, pensado lo que pensó, hecho lo que hizo si hubiera vivido en otra época. Y Marx, Hegel, Sócrates... sus experiencias de vida influyeron de manera sustancial en sus obras?
El ambiente (definido desde el período socio-histórico hasta los acontecimientos personales) en que se produce una obra del pensamiento es circunstancial o decisivo?

Creo que está bastante aceptado que las experiencias de vida marcan a las personas más que cualquier otra cosa. En especial en lo que refiere a las obras y formas de pensar. Poniendo a Marx como ejemplo, si una persona con exactamente el mismo ADN hubiera nacido antes de Hegel, obviamente no hubiera hecho todo lo que hizo.

Un hombre es el resultado de su ambiente, de todo lo que lo rodea y aprehenda en su vida, si marx huviese nacido en la polinesia en 1325 es dificil que escribiese el capital no? porque el regimen capitalista ni siquiera existia y en la polinesia menos que menos. Y bueno, si huviese nacido en el seno de una flia burguesa en cambridge a finales del siglo XIX seguramente se huviese llamado John Maynard Keynes.

No voy a repetir lo que dijeron mis conforristas (?) o agregarles ejemplos o contrafácticos: estoy de acuerdo, el medio ambiente influye totalmente, es decisivo.
Eso es lo que yo pienso.

creo que la filosofia es inspirada en un contexto de necesidad pero siempre va a tener tracendecia, especialmente si se lo toma desde la esencia

The more you talk about a person as a social construction or as a confluence of forces or as being fragmented of marginalised, what you do is you open up a whole new world of excuses.

And when sartre talks about responsibilty, he's not talking about something abstract. He's not taling about the kind of self or souls that theologians would talk about.

Hes talking about you and me talking, making descisions, doing things, and taking the consequences. It might be true that there are six million people in this world, and counting, but nevertheless -what you do makes a difference. It makes a difference, first of all, in material terms, to other people, and it sets an example.

In short, I think the message here is that we shouuld never write ourselves off or see eachother as a victim of various forces. It's always our descision who we are.
